Warehouse Management Systems Case Study
First GB Logistics is based in South Wales and specialises in third party
warehouse storage and high volume distribution.
To control the day to day Warehouse Management Operation the WITS system was installed at the warehouse together with the WITS_MOBILE real time radio data interface.
Mark Harding the Site Manager of First GB Logistics explains "This company has a phenomenal rate of growth and without the ease of expansion of the WITS System we would have management and operational constraints that would hamper our progress. The WITS system was originally a small model option which we have expanded to match the throughput and operational complexity of a large warehouse."
The integrated WITS systems were supplied to First GB Logistics on a rental
basic so avoiding high up front costs.
