Software modules for the WITS warehouse management system which allows
registered e-commerce customers to obtain automatic reports
on demand or 'call-off' stock from the warehousing system using standard
e-mail requests without the need for Operator intervention. The e-commerce
modules are available for short or long term hire.
The WITS PC inventory software e-commerce modules can run on any Pentium
type PC and can be customised to fit with the on-site situation and
work ethos.
The modules are flexible enough to be used both for standard commercial
interaction and remote plant monitoring. The system uses the e-mail
internet route to give a mass interface to the e-commerce modules. This
in effect means that registered Customers or machine/plant monitoring
stations can occur anywhere there is a phone connection.
