Truck
Mounted RF terminal
WITS supply a rugged truck mounted terminal with large display and
simplistic key input with or without external laser scanners.
The terminal is mounted in a convenient place for the truck driver
and is connected to a long range barcode scanner.
As the barcode is read, the bar code inventory software sends a signal
to a WITS node that is installed into the warehouse, and then passed
onto the warehouse office and stored onto the WITS system.
The process can also be used in the opposite direction. The drivers
are sent instructions informing them to go to a specified location and
pick a product or store one.
Handheld
RF Bar Code Scanner System
Handheld radio data terminal giving real-time data communication between
operators and the WITS warehouse management system using bar code scanning
software.
This lightweight radio data terminal is durable and resistant to commonplace
accidents that occur in the warehouse environment
The terminal has a password function allowing different users to log
on, thus allowing a better auditing facility with regards to finding
errors.
