Typical Systems
The WITS system can be supplied in a wide variety of configurations
from a simple 'Entry Level System' to a sophisticated sever based application
for multiple Users with real time RF Data communication between warehouse
personnel and the central system.
Entry Level System
The entry level system consists of high specification PC together with
a report and label printer

Small Office WITS System
With the Small Office configuration there is a master WITS terminal
with capability to carry out all aspects of the Warehouse Management
function as authorised by the system security level. A second WITS system
has the capability to carry out a subset of Operations as defined by
the System manager and is not able to carry out major changes such as
stock adjustment, Customer storagecostings etc.
With this configuration it is also possible to have a dedicated Customer
Report server. This allows designated customers to dial into the WITS
Operation and call off reports on their current stock holdings, historical
analysis and copies of GRN/GO notes.

Multi-User WITS
The multi-user WITS configuration allows multiple operators to concurrently
carry out various tasks within the Warehouse Management Function
This gives a large increase in data throughput and allows operators
to handle real time Customer telephone enquiries
If required the Operator terminals can be dedicated to specific functions
within the warehouse management regime

Advanced System
This incorporates the Warehouse RF system connected to the WITS central
processor. The Warehouse system uses both Truck Mounted and hand held
bar code scanner and radio data terminals. Their signals are picked
up by the RF nodes (the amount used is dependant on the size and layout
of the warehouse) and then sent to the local RF transaction processor.
This is connected to the central processor where the reports can be
generated to suit each system. Label printers can also be generated
when new stock arrives and printed on the fast label printers.
